I have an older craftsman cart and chest that are in my garage and not used on the farm. They have served me well but the boy sprung one of the drawers. Looking at the drawer bracket it is attached to the side of the cabinet with metal tabs that have now been bent. I know once bent they will loose their strength. Poor design IMO. I'm wondering what is a fair priced replacement for this. I am not going to justify SNAP ON so what are some more fair priced options and who has good luck with some of these?

Almost everyone recommends US General at Harbor Freight. I have a side cabinet that came in a trade deal. I’ve had it for a very long time and it is pretty nice for what they cost in the day that it was made. The master force from Menards are nice from the ones I’ve seen. What’s your budget, and needs? theres no need for a recommendation of a 56-72” box.

Another vote for Harbor Freight / US General. It's a lot of toolchest for the money.
I've got two of their 44" rolling chests, and one extra side box (early models) that are 6yrs old or so, and FULL. Never a problem.

They run $599 retail, but go on sale fairly often for much less.

My local lowes had some craftman chests on clearance last week. Seemed lighter weight than my HF box, but the prices were great.

Also have a USG chest and have had several of the carts (kept growing out of them). Easily recommend.
