I picked up a Snap On tool cart from a neighbor at a steal recently ($350 for a small US made one). I'm not a mechanic but knew the wife was going to make me keep tools out in the garage and wanted something nice.
I don't have experience with these and am trying to figure out how to get screwdrivers to work in the side storage under the top lid. I know some of that area is meant for prybars but I thought you could use some for screwdrivers.
The issue is the screwdrivers aren't held in place. There's a small hole in the metal for the shank but the top handle is free to wobble around. Maybe that's completely fine because it probably won't go anywhere. Wasnt sure if you pro wrenches had any tips or tricks on how to use those side screwdriver slots, or maybe it's meant for something else and I'm using it wrong.
Also some of the holes are bigger than just the shank. So the screwdriver is falling down halfway into the handle. Maybe those larger holes were meant for prybar storage. I only have a couple prybars so was hoping to use them for screwdrivers if possible.
Any particular screwdrivers make the most sense to store on the side? Either the ones that you use most open or maybe have the longest shank and might be too clumsy for a drawer?
