stumbled upon this, I think it looks pretty nice? Lots of usable space and not like the cheaper ones that have the drawer box bolted on. 21" deep and not 16" deep like some..

$300 and 130 lbs..

They appear to be well built. I'm not sure the price is that great, but it certainly is in the ballpark. The dual struts and chrome wheels are a nice touch and there appears to be plenty of space. I really dislike the black one , but the yellow one sure looks cool.

It appears to be well made except for one thing imo. I don't like how the bottom and legs are constructed. The top box when loaded with tools is going to be heavy. If you look at the round tubular legs they are attached to the bottom with a mounting plate (I'm pretty sure the casters are tied into that as well). I imagine the legs are attached to the top box in that fashion as well. This just seems like a potential problem with loosening up in the future to me. The top box looks nice though.

Well, not sure.. maybe a little loctite? if something would loosen up then the cheaper ones made with angle irons have lots more screws to loosen up.. like these

Looks like it's built pretty well with dual sliders on the bottom drawer..

I've seen those carts with the angle legs and they didn't appear very durable in the least and was quite wobbly.

Last week, I bought the Craftsmans deluxe mechanics cart during April tool club sale for $183, regular price is $249.
This cart is well built and heavy; two drawers with a magnetic side tray on one side and fold out table on the other. Also has a fold up lid.
I'll post some pics later. It had great reviews at Sears.com.

Edit: The legs on this Cman cart at solid square tubing; not the cheap angle **** on el-cheap on carts.

It's really impossible to tell how well a Chinese produced cart is made from a picture. I feel the main selling point for the carts with round legs is quick assembly. I think you can do alot better with other carts. Even though you don't want to overload your cart (we all do), I think accessories like a folding side shelf or prybar holder, or the ever popular nitrile glove box holder are handy capabilities.

I actually started a thread about the HF a few weeks back, and decided to buy it after hearing other's feedback. I couldn't have been happier with my purchase. Definitely one of my favorite $100 purchases thus far.

I don't recall whether or not I posted a "review" in your thread, I know I was thinking about it at the time. The one in the store was in fact wobbly and poorly put together. I decided to pick one up anyway (with coupon, so it ended up being about $100 including tax for me). Instructions were garbage. Other than that, it assembled pretty easily and it's actually really sturdy. I am really impressed with it. I will say that I had to reverse one of the hinges on the lid (it was installed backwards), and I also had to tweak one side of the lid as it closed too tight on one side of the box, but other than that, built really well.

I was impressed with how it turned out for the price. I think it could pass for a more expensive one easily.

I said it once and I'll say it again.

"I just put my cart together that was purchased a couple of weeks ago. I told the manager that I was out of town when they were selling for $79 and he agreed to let me have it at that price. I bought a few other trinkets and they even let me use a 20% off coupon on the cart also. For $64 I think it is definately worth the money.

The assembly instructions stink, but anyone on this forum shouldn't have any problems. Mine doesn't have any wobble and the overall quality seems pretty good. I may go back and get a red one for the house garage just so the wife can have something to keep her "tools" in."

Save your money and get the cheaper HF tool cart. I have not had any problems with mine. Knowing that it was from HF, I used gorilla gllue when I put it together. As stated above, the instructions stink royally, but it does come with lock nuts which helps it maintain rigidity.
