Is there something between the HF cart (red ) and the big guys(snap/mac/etc)

at work, We need a bigger one than the red HF , but don't need the durability of the big guys. (its not used every day, only when **** breaks)

Sunex has gotten some good reviews, there was a thread a few weeks ago.

I also took a look at the NAPA brand cart a few months ago when it was on sale for like $350 and it was pretty nice for the money, I'm sure it is a re-brand though.

Check out the sunex or homak six drawer carts. They have a nice top till, pry bar storage, and roller bearing drawer slides. Shop around for the best deal.

If it makes you feel better, you can pay twice the price for the same 5 drawer tool cart sold in HF through any number of retailers that sell them under a different name or as "unbranded". IMO - that 5 Drawer cart IS the in-between quality you are looking for... The black 4 drawer is basically just like the husky's that are sold out of HD. The red 5 drawer is a nice step up from that.

Here it is on eBay in black

If you really want a better brand, Sunex has some too for around $350 online.. I broke down and bought one of the husky's that were on clearance for $40.. I added a sunex folding shelf and locking screwdriver/pry bar holder.. The red HF is much better than what I have, but even the Husky is decent for light use or home.. If I were a mechanic I wouldn't mind buying the 5 drawer red HF model.. A lot of guys here have them.

Decided to just upgrade to the 44" plus I made a 2" thick white oak top and mounted a small 4" vise. This should suit our needs fir awhile, Still mobile enough, has a top to work on , and a vise....m
