Tool chest customization

[Mainiac Mat]

My lovely wife gave me (well, tolerated me getting) the HF 44" US General chest for me birthday last year, knowing that I needed a new box for the newly built garage. Since I already have a hardwood top work bench for the garage, I decided to do something different by way of upgrading the bench. I spent a good deal of time on Pinterest getting ideas, and tried to put as much into the bench build as I could fit.

Construction:
> 80/20 extruded aluminum frame
> ABS veneered Birch plywood (same mat'l that's used for rode cases)
> 3D printed battery holders and cord cleats
> Pegboard on back

Awesome. I have the same box just in orange because that’s all they had besides yellow. Like how you have yours. I plan to get the top eventually and the side drawers and locker too.
