Hello,

I picked up a box from a mechanic that worked at my previous job, in California. He had owned it for many years and wasn’t sure on a brand. In fact, he didn’t know much about it at all. After speaking with Zkling, and attempting to identify the box, we were unable to say with certainty a maker. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, and have a great week.

I'll throw this out there. I wanted to say Stack on, but couldn't say for certainty.

I personally ruled out....

Snap on, drawer slides and handle not correct
Craftsman/Waterloo
Mac--> Typically their handles were stamped with Mac, those are plain
Matco--> Typically their handles were stamped with Matco, those are plain
Kennedy, drawer slides not correct
Waterloo--> Possible, but the drawer slides don't match? :dunno:

But I only know a fraction compared to some of the tool box experts on here. In for info. :headscrat

Those do look like Mac handles.

I wanted to say that as well, but all the mac handles that I have seen had "Mac" or "Matco" engraved, embossed on the center of the handle. The handles on the OP's box seem to be plain with no markings on them? Additionally mac/matco used a differnt style sheet metal join on their lids.
