Finaly got around to making a tool creeper. Got the idea from another thread, and can not beleive i never thought of it.

Choose a Kinchrome parts tray, 75mm rubber castors from my local hardware supply, M6 bolts and nuts to secure and all fastners are Stainless

All castors are swivel and load rated to 40kg each. Also giving the tray good ground clearance and stability.

Total cost of build $35AUD

Yeah thats definately going to break my heart hahahha. I was sick to death of hitting spanners, sockets and other random tools with my creepers castors and have them shoot out from under the truck when u need them.

You're idea will work very well. I have needed to do something similar with a creeper for a while now.

Extra bonus: you can roll your turkey or goose around on the table instead of passing plates for your guests! :)

That is a great idea! I slide my tool tray from the top of my box around but it really isn't big enough and it kinda *****.

I'm going to keep my eye out for a shallower one like the cookie sheet idea and set it up with a wrench rack. I end up with half of my wrenches for air lines and hyrdraulic lines under the truck.

Wow that's weird - last weekend I had the wife buy me a lasagna baking pan by Wilton at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $8 (after coupon).
This is the pan -

I went with high sides also so if I have smaller parts they'll stay in the pan. With the large size I should be able to throw a round magnetic parts tray in it and a small swivel light like this -

I bought 1 inch swivel wheels along with 1/4 bolts, lock washers and nuts at Home Depot on Wednesday. This weekend I'm going to put it together to see how it turns out. And here you post almost the same thing. :wtf:
I'm making it because I am sick and tired of trying to drag a tool caddy and parts around under the car. My red Jeepers Creeper has wheels so why not a tool creeper. I was inspired by the "tool creeper" posted in the show your new tool arrivals thread.
