Alright, so I've found some pretty crazy deals on Amazon over the years and well, I'm finally sharing how I find them:

It works, and not just for tools...there have been some things I've gotten for WAY below "cost" that just isn't possible anywhere else.

Anyone else do this?

I just setup alerts on Slickdeals. Gets annoying with notifications throughout the day but I’ve gotten a few really good deals out of it.

ive heard of keepa, never looked into it though. Probably check that out with the filters.

Pretty good tips! Never used keepa.
And yes the dilemma of sharing is a tough one.
I've had good luck with brand searches and sorting. Depending on the item you may not realize some items are multiple qty so on its face it doesn't look appealing

Haha ya, I figure since I'm in Canada the competition is smaller and everyone is looking for their own thing. I would say historically I get probably an amazing deal once every couple months doing this, usually 60-80% off on $100+ items...and probably once a month similar savings on sub $100 items.

I use keepa but stopped clicking the amazon links from the Keepa website because I found it triggered the Amazon algorithm to spike the price right away.

This is pretty cool, but im curious how often these orders get canceled. For instance I found an electric bike that is normally $1500 for $50. If I order that, what are the chances it actually goes through?

I haven't found that, Keepa isn't real time so sometimes it takes a bit for them to reflect price updates...so you click through and someone's already snagged the deal.

I've only had one item cancelled in all the years doing this because it was out of stock when I placed the order at a really low price and they couldn't get new stock (I chatted with support after it hadn't shipped in a couple months).
Nicely done video
Thanks :)
