Looks good..... maybe 3M adheasive spray would be an alternative to double sided tape for securing the mat and foam to the drawers?

They aren't secured to the drawers at all. The tape was only to stick the foam to the drawer liner. this way, if something needs to be changed later, it's as simple as just taking it out, no gooey adhesive to deal with on the drawer.

Oh so good to see the Estwing ball peen hammers in your box. I'm an A&P student and I recently picked up an old 12oz. Estwing leather handle ball peen on ebay (I remembered my grandpa having these hammers and always thought they were coo)l. I was worried, though, as an A&P, about the metal handle and possible damage from a miss. But... as my instructor told me, just hit what you meant to! Thanks for the reassurance.

I'm a casualty of the Wichita aviation layoffs myself. My layoff is what got me into an A&P school. Where do you work? I worked for McCauley Propellers.

My dad has a estwing leather "ring" handle handle hatchet and hammer my grandpa won a long time ago. Nicest ballanced hammer i've ever seen.
