Seeing many threads on whats the difference in quality between brand X versus truck brand Y... et al, I think it might be good for the board to implement a pay it forward benefit section. For those who might have seen this work on other forums, it works like this: one member offers up an article(in our case a specific tool) that they do not need/returned and would like to contribute it to the benefit of another forum member. If really large maybe share some of the price of shipping. All that is asked of the receiving member is to continue the process by offerring something up to the benefit of the next person.
I'm sure with all the "you ****" finds from pawn shops, auctions and some of those bulk craigslist and ebay deals there has got to be at least one tool or two you could contribute for the benefit of another individual. It works on the honor system and without saying its first come first served to the tool offerred.
Might get flamed for this late night idea but.... does this sound like something you'd be willing to get going?
I'm no longer a poor college student so I'd be willing to step up and start giving back.
