I inherited a box of hand tools from a widow who was cleaning out her basement. The tools were her husbands and i believe he did a lot of framing his own pictures (he was some kind of artist). Anyway, I came across this tool and it is a very basic tool but my curiosity is getting the best of me and before I throw it away, I was just hoping someone could give me an idea of what it was used for.
