any ideas for some 1/2 stuff?

Armstrong 12-994 flex drive ratchet(88 tooth). Proto 15 inch long ratchet(24 tooth). Ctaftsman premuim ratchet(84 tooth). Dewalt, kobalt and craftsman sockets are nice. Gearwrench 24 inch breaker bar. Proto 18 inch breaker bar. These are what I use and like.

Are the newer fine tooth ratchets good quality? Where are they made China or Taiwan?

my Gearwrench 81212p is made in Taiwan. It is a 120 tooth 3/8 stubby flex head.

I'd start with impacts. I have chromes also but never use them. Sets that don't skip are better-well there are sizes like 20 & 23 you won't miss. Adding a couple sockets can add up. Also some brands don't sell individuals so replacements can be a pain
