Of all the fantastic tool box organizing I have seen from the members, I don't recall seeing any of these magnetic socket holders. I have used them for years and they are the most convenient holders to take to the car or project. Sockets wont fall out-even upside down and the racks stay put on any metal surface. I use different colors for SAE. & Metrics. Amazon has them for about $24

Merkava, I need to get a couple of those bit holders. Do you have the MTS part number for them. I'm not sure I'm finding the right one when I do a search, the picture comes up in a brown example although the description says yellow. I just want to make sure I order the one you have pictured.

I been using them for years just wish I could find more of them at the price I paid. I was browsing our local True Value, and found 5 of them at $6 each:bounce: , The store is a complete mess but when you ask someone where something is they take you right to it.

The only thing I don't like about them is all the fine metal-rust particles they pick up.

Found a good color selection of these-fair priced-free shipping over $99 order.
ToolTopia.com $16.79 ea. average price- a lot cheaper than the trucks.
Check it out.

Great price, lucky find, plus they look nice.

Couldn't use them at the wrecking yard though, every magnetic tool I take there turns black first time it hits the dirt :(

Sorry, I don't mean to hijack this thread, but speaking of toolholders, where can I get a magnetic or otherwise rack to put my most used prybars and screwdrivers on the side of my box. I'm trying to maximize drawer space, and I've seen magnets on the side of boxes holding prybars and screwdrivers. But, searching the net I find nothing...

Sears has a magnet that will hold heavy stuff like prybars - my wife gave me one for x-mas. I'm sure Billymade knows the part #.

The Sears link doesn't work for me, so I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for, but HarborFreight has magnetic mats. I saw them in the store and they looked just like others I've seen in other places- a black mat with silver parallel bars.

Looking at the site, all I found was THIS.

Elroy is fully aware that some folks think these magnetic tools holders are very convenient. That may well be. But there is one thing Elroy really hates and that is magnetized tools.

Wouldn't let one of them dam things even near the tool box let alone a socket or screw driver.

In Elroy's humble opinion:

MAGNETIZED TOOLS ****

your results may vary.
