Tool hunter traffic alert for Ohio Swap Meet

Some Garage Journal members have mentioned to me that they plan to visit my upcoming big swap meet in Springfield, Ohio, to shop some of the same tool sellers that I bought so many used USA tools from last year. Well this year there is a major construction project going on on I-70 eastbound, and I would like to help fellow GJ members avoid the long traffic lines it will cause. So I posted some detailed info and maps on Garage Journal, but under the "Free Parking" section (that's where I figured it belonged).

Yet I know that some of you tool hunters said you were coming, and I was afraid you might miss the alert I had posted in Free Parking if you don't visit there often (I don't). Rather than repeat that post, here is a link to it, for anyone who might need it. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=102656

Lump, I;m going to try and make it up for this.

Is there a way to find you once there, in the sense of are you manning a vendor booth or are you just going to be wandering about?

More vendor spaces have been sold than I thought would be given the economy. I;ve got someone with a respectable 1951 Dodge Coronet diplomat coupe Flathead 6 that is looking to sell it off, so likely will use this as a chance to do so.

JJRMX5,
I will be on the move most of the time, travelling from one end of the 129-acre facility to the other. I will likely be overwhelmed until about 2 pm Saturday afternoon, at which time the event normally starts to run itself, sort of. That's when I have time to hook up with friends, and sometimes do a little tool shopping. Sometime Saturday afternoon (or later in the event), just stop any staff member with a golf cart, and ask them to call Jim on the radio and say you are from Garage Journal. If I'm able to get away, I'll come to you. If not, I'll try and arrange a time and place a little later.

I'm really glad you're coming. Thanks!

Lump, I'll miss this one (for obvious reasons, given my location!), but this is a yearly one, yes? I know my family will be visiting the US at some point, if I should happen to time it for tool shopping, so much the better!
