anyone know what these brands are?

the ratchet is a very familiar look, figure someone knows the manufacturer by the box or picture inside

The top one looks like your standard cheap Japanese made 1970's tool kit. The bottom one looks like a Craftsman box but who knows about the sockets. The breaker bar is a Craftsman.

well i was hoping it was an sk set, for sale round my area for 7 bucks.

The bottom one looks like a Craftsman from the late 60's to early 80's and would have had a red plastic insert with spaces for 9 sockets (or 8 sockets and a 1/4"-3/8" adapter).
