A coworker got a vintage toolbox full of tools. We were looking through it and I’m trying to figure out what these are for.

First is an oddly shaped crowsfoot- there are multiple sizes with a similar shape

Then there’s this. It’s probably for creasing something, just don’t know what or why.

The **** has a zerk fitting.

Nothing vital, just some interesting things.

The first is a tie rod adjusting wrench.

Second tool looks like a mortar pointing tool.

Tie rod adj. wrench as mentioned, think the second is for greasing U-joints or the like, squeezing it in behind a seal.

The tie rod tools look like some I have that are SnapOn. They came in several sizes, two for cars and a larger one for trucks. Very handy for stuck tie rod adjustments. They would spread the adjuster sleeve enough to turn without having to resort to a 24" pipe wrench.

Hollow, you can pump grease through it.

Yeah but it has a grease fitting and you can pump grease through it. It’s full of it right now.

Yeah he's got a few of those in various sizes. Pretty psyched about some of the stuff he found in the box. A lot to pick through and sort out what's decent but already he's found some cool stuff.
