Hi, cleaning out my dad's shop amd came across these 2 tools. Can anyone tell me what they are?

They both have the same sticker on them recommending eye protection. One of them is labeled "tiger".

Is the red one sit operated, lever actuated, etc? Close up of the business end?

Same for the orange one, looks like action is in the center of the three columns, what are the cylinder ends like there?

Yes it looks like the red one is lever operated; I moved the top and it seems to have a spring in it to return it to the top. I'm sure I have the lever somewhere!

The red one may be for striking with a hammer like a battery cable crimper. Maybe to punch holes in a leather belt? Just a guess.

Did he do alot of chainsaw work ? Look like chain rivet tools to me.

Yes these are for breaking and resetting the rivets in chainsaw chain.
