Does anyone know what this tool is used for? The name on it says Bernard - Sargent & Company New Haven Conn. Thanks.

I don't recall it as a common catalog tool, but it looks like a crimper. Maybe others recognize it

Maybe for putting Nicopress aglets onto stainless-steel shoelaces?

Doesn't it appear too lightweight for Nicopress work; especial with such large dies/jaws - would appear maybe for softer materials.

I think if you had a need, Bernard-Sargent would make the tool for you. I see lots of B-S whatzits out there.
