Hi,
As I mentioned in another thread, I just got a new-old snap-on toolbox, and there's a bunch of tools in there that I just can't identify. Can anyone help ?

***1- Snap-On MD-17 <62 chevy tool, thanks Zrexxer !***

2- Snap-On CPT 100 (1/4 square socket)

***Snap-On FB-309W identified, thanks Displaced_Hokie ! ***

***4- A flex driver of some sort. Carb tool ? Thanks Thumper!***

***5- Gray 655 - "T driver" , thanks for confirming, lbgradwell!***

***6- Complete mystery. Probably stethoscope related? thanks Thumper***

7- Another mystery, but this one's marked "Blue Point PT-27" The far end is knurled, the whole thing is telescopic to ~48". No magnets at either end...

Thanks for any info !

I don't feel so bad now! I found something similar the FB-309 and asked the same thing here a few months ago...it's a feeler gauge to gap spark plugs. The tool on the end is for bending the electrode.

The other stuff is really interesting, but I have no clue!

#3 is indeed a spark plug gapping tool

#4 is a carb adjusting tool

#6 looks like the diaphram of a mechanics sthethescope

Hmm, only things left are #2 (Snap On CPT 100) and #7 (Blue Point PT-27) , and a quick email to Snap-On support did not give me an answer. Anyone here have old SO catalogs from the 70s or 80s ?

Thanks!

Number 7 looks like a magnetic Pickup Tool with black tape wrapped around it.

I believe the CPT100 is a special tool used for drain plugs or drain plug sockets.

I could not find CPT100 but did find CPT110A

From the catalog: CPT110A Drain Plug Socket (for VW). 17mm single hex. For standard transmission drain plug. 3/8" drive, 1" long. Chrome finish.

Just a guess though...
