Tool Identification

My father passed away 25 years ago and I inherited all his tools and tool boxes. He had several toolboxes full of stuff and I never really checked anything other than the main box, which became my main box.

Well, the Stay at Home order here in Michigan got me cleaning and organizing my garage to keep myself busy, so I've finally opened up and started going through dad's other toolboxes.

A lot of stuff is duplicates of what he already had, or what I have, so that stuff is going in the "garage sale" pile. However, I'm coming across tools I've never seen before and have no idea what they might be for. I'm hoping if I post pictures someone might be able to tell me what they are for. Oh, dad was a lineman for Michigan Bell for 27 years, so they may be specialty tools for that...

The first pliers (silver handle) is a band pliers. Car manufactures make the hose bands with “ears” and the circular tips should have an indent where the top of the ear sits so when you open them, they won’t slip

Hose clamp pliers, ebrake cable pliers, battery terminal pliers. The last 2 i think a seal puller and a brake spring tool.

Although, being only a shade-tree mechanic (at best), I'm wondering what brake springs require a three-foot-long tool to work with...

^ for the first one.

Blue handle one is a battery terminal spreader.

Last one is a tool for working on Ford flat head V-8' valve keepers.

The last photo is a bar for compressing/removing valve springs on flathead Ford V-8 engines. The valve, spring, and guide were designed to be removed and replaced at a unit, with a stamped steel clip to retain the whole thing.

The tool in the first photo is for "Corbin" hose clamps. They are made of spring wire, with little overlapping "legs" on each end that the cups of the tool catches to squeeze the two legs together, expanding the clamp.

Most of these are pretty easy. I've been a mechanic for close to 50 years. The one with the red handle that looks like some kind of puller has me baffled. I have one also-came in a box of stuff- and have no idea.
