Hey fellas I just finished creating a tool invertory of all the tools I have at my grandmas house with me. The rest of my tools are at my fathers house I'll have to get to them sometime this month hopefully I was just wondering what you guy's are using to do a invetory? I used microsoft Database works alot like a spread sheet. I was wondering if I should include pictures with my list? The main reason I made up this list was to simply see what all I have here and what the value would be but I got to thinking this would also be very helpfull incase of fire theft flood damage or whatever :shocking: So do you guy's think it would be a good idea to take pictures of all these items and attach them to the list? thanks here is my list of stuff I have with me right now I'll try and get all the other tools sorted out and invetoried when I am at my fathers house next

umm how to link a document to here from my computer? thanks

I just take digital photos, save them on the computer and on a memory stick at the office as a backup.
I do something similar. Pictures work well for insurance purposes.
