Came across another tool that I have no it’s function. I’ll take some help.

Looks like a "George" to me.

That looks like a neon spark plug wire tester thingamabob. Any lettering on it?

The metro end isn’t magnetic and it has a sight glass that’s has some brown liquid in it. No markings on the pen but it has “BG” on the leather case.

If you grasp the blue part and pull on the drawer pull looking end what happens?

It looks like an oiler, a cased spirit level, or a thermometer of some kind...

I'm pretty sure this it what it is. Lay its tip alongside of a plug wire on a running engine, and see if strobe is visible in that window slot.

Took a better picture after I was able to take it apart. Maybe it is a spark tester?

Now that I see it apart, I'd say that is a spark tester

A quick search using Google Lens and added description, identifies as a BG Spark Plug Resistance Tester, The letters BG stand for The BG Service Company, a prominent manufacture of specialized aviation ignition components, spark plugs and testing equipment.

Yes, that’s what it is. Place the tip of it alongside a plug wire, and the neon lamp will strobe whenever that cylinder is ignited.
