I use just standard closet metal shelves for pliers. I cut the parts off i don't need, then bend them so they stand up a little. For screwdrivers, i just keep them in the snap on tray they come in.

For pliers I used a long piece of all thread and then cut up a cheap aluminum yard stick from harbor freight and drilled a hole to put the al thread through and used some nuts to keep them spaced apart. Put the pliers in between the two pieces of yardstick. This allows for adjustability depending on the size of the pliers.
