That's definitely one of the better looking box ends I've seen. What about the beam, does it have a nice rounded edge? :)

I like the look of the handle on the adjustable wrench, seem like it would have a nice hold if the edges were nice and rounded.

Thank's for the pictures.

Ratchet is kind of odd, like the looks of the wrenches though, older Proto type finish. Hows the pricing on the wrenches?

Hi Keep,
The exposed(open)head holds up well, they used some in a certain sandy country in the middle east.Plus they make a #4482 with soft faced head for use on scaffold.

Diesel Crawler,
The edges are pretty nice!

Old Salvage,
As I have stated before this is the only wright tool NOT made in the USA,it is made in Spain. The manufacturer makes them for "other" big name tool co's here, guess which one?

I agree Merk!

TRTOOLSUPPLY: You should really use this as your avatar.

Anyway, It is great Wright tools are getting known on this board. For years I have known about how good they are, but they are a very quiet company (Kinda like Granco). And I very rarely see them outside of Flea markets and Pawn shops.

I finally ordered a catalog off the site. Looking forward to reading it.

Anyway, best of luck!

Picked up these today for a song.

I count myself lucky, because most people don't know what Wright tools are.

You really can feel the quality of these tools.

These and Gr**co are about the most Stout tools I have ever used.

Highly recommended.

Wright doesn't make a long pattern at this time, that is the downside of making only 3,600+ tools.

I really like the look of these wrenches but I also wish they were longer.

TRTOOLSUPPLY: Have you ever asked Wright why they do not make a long pattern wrench? Do they have plans to manufacture them?

I have seven Wright ratchets. They are great; as strong as any ratchet I own and they also have a fine tooth mechanism (45, dual pawl).

Hi BB26,
I asked a Wright Rep and he said right now they didn't have plans to make any,but if there was a huge order ie Boeing Aircraft, etc they would custom manufacture them.I also wish they would make them, but the industries they have sold to for decades must not "need" them. That is a liminting factor of making "only"3,600+ tools, not having a tool for everyone's needs!
Thanks,I hope this helps.

I've had a 3/8 and 1/2 open head ratchet for years. They are very nice and good to use. My reccollection is that I may have bought them from Griot's Garage a very long time ago when he was touting them as the best(before his Facom days). Anyone else recall this or am I mistaken?
