Been thinking about this. Would anyone find a tool review podcast or YouTube channel interesting? Something where you put a tool through the paces and see how it holds up, like that.

This is my clever signature.

id enjoy something like that. but do tools that everyone can get and use. also use the tool. dont do like everyone else and lay it on the tool box and tell us how badass it or how much of a pos it is and all we see is how shiny the chrome is LOL

There are already more than a few out there already. Real tool reviews, tools in action, toolguyd.com, etc. come to mind.
I guess the problem I have with these sites/channels is that sometimes what is meant to be a review ends up being an infomercial :dunno:

I started my review / other stuff YT channel after searching for the billionth time on YT and coming up empty.

Real Tool Reviews is sort of the pinnacle of review channels. If you haven't already watch his videos to get some good ideas.

If you make videos and no one watches, no harm done other than some time. Hopefully you find making them fun too. That's where I'm at. Not a lot of views but I'm still having fun making videos and talking to myself out in the garage. If it was a chore and I hated editing / using a computer I wouldn't do it.

If you want to pickup a hobby and like talking to yourself, throw your hat in the ring! Also if you're hoping to make a bunch of money on ads or affiliate selling you're better off picking up a part time job / busking on the street. The big channels make decent money but that's a long ways out and doesn't happen to most.
