Thought I'd throw this question open to the GJ to get some feedback. When watching / looking for tool review videos and photos what do you think if the tools are dirty or clean or new or used?
For example, RTR tools are always pristine and clean and even come in their foam inserts or drawer inserts. I don't know if he's really good at cleaning tools, if he takes the video before using the tools or if he just has fifty of every tool ever made (this is my guess
).
Some of the tool reviews you can tell that they don't even know anything about the tool and are maybe just looking at the box.
The reason I'm wondering is, I wanted to do a video soon on the Milwaukee Demolition work gloves. I really like them, I've been using them for a few months and they're holding up a lot better than the previous gloves I was using where I'd gone through several across a few months. However, they do look ratty. I started wondering if I should go buy another pair to make a video with or maybe even if people would actually prefer to see them beaten and still hanging in there.
What's your guys' take?
Also if anyone says wtf would I make a video about gloves, they've got a few features that I have shown people (who owned them) and they didn't even know about so I thought I'd talk about my experience with them and also show the features in case someone doesn't know about them.
