Just thought I'd share a recent purchase I'm proud of. I frequently check Craigslist for items I can't live without. I've wanted a miter saw for a while but couldn't bring myself to buy one without a real need. Last Friday I was browsing craigslist and came across an ad for a Miter saw for sale. I give it a look and it's a Dewalt DWS780 used one time asking 225. I figured it was a scam but texted the number given. I ended up getting it for 200 bucks the saw still had the box and the blade had no signs of wear I literally believe the saw cut like 3 boards. Everything works great and this saw retails for around $600. I've used it more in 2 days than I think the saw has ever been used.

The lady was selling it to get money for an attorney for her husband.

Here is a photo the girlfriend snapped of me using it to cut some MDF for my subwoofer box. Not a very good/big photo but as you can see the slide is huge.

I just bought a new DeWalt DW713 which is the basic 10" non-slider for the same price. You got a heck of a deal!

Just to give an idea of how big this saw is it will cut a 2x12 at a 45 degree angle and a 2x18 (I think) at a 90

Those are sweet saws. I have the earlier version, with the sliding rails above each other, instead of side-by-side. I have used the heck out of it for more than 12 years, and it is still tight and accurate.

Awesome deal, you totally ****! I got that exact same saw with a rolling worksite stand for fathers day and I can tell you it cost a lot more than you paid!

Great deal on the saw. You'll get your money's worth out of it. I think mine has paid for itself dozens of times over.
