I need to buy a set of tools socket Set. But I'm undecided about buying a white label thing and buy a quality thing. I'll give a little tool to use, but wanted to buy something that does not let me wrong.

I want the tool to repair my bike and fix the tractor mower.

I thought about buying one of the following brands:
- Facom
- Beta
- Hazet
- Coralus

Sorry for my english.

Hello and welcome to the forum knightmasks.

I think all four brands will do the job but If I had to choose I would go with Facom or Hazet since those are the brands I have experience with.

From what I've read on a german tool forum Carolus is worth the money and a good tool but maybe not quite the same quality as Hazet, Stahlwille, Gedore...

With that said, I have enough confidence in Beta and Carolus that I will buy some tools from them at some point but first choice would be Facom/Hazet for me since I know those from before.

Then there might be the question of price, availability, warranty...

Carolus is made by Gedore.

OP- I have Hazet and love them. Honestly doubt they are worth the money over Facom from a value perspective, but I really like most of my Hazet.

I don't have any tools from the brands you listed but from reading on here they are good tools.

Couple things I always consider when buying tools. How easy will it be to warranty one if it does break, this is important to me. Not that I break a lot of tools but I like to know that if one does break I won't have to buy a new one. I either want a hassle free local return or a hassle free mail in return. I will pay a little more for this so I don't have to worry about paying more if the tool breaks.

Prices at Samstag didn't seem to be aimed at the affordable market.

Lower cost isn't always low cost. ;)

knightmasks, I think you just need to see what each set offer compared to what you need. Both sets should give you good quality.
And also some good points by scott37300.

One thing I will recommend is a good 1/2" breaker bar at least 380mm long.

Will you be buying in a store or on the internet?

Ok, maybe throw in a set of combination wrenches as well if you don't have it already?

And remember, we demand to see pictures of your tools when you get them.

I will buy product online.

Not sure about how you feel but when I buy online I like to know I can return them or warranty them if needed. Some companies make this hard which I learned recently. I had a tool that I bought online and needed to warranty it, emailed the company and they told me to send it in. The postage was going to cost more than the new tool is worth. So if you break a socket and have to send it in is it going to be worth it for you? Also I read some companies, SK, charges 5 bucks for returns in addition to you shipping it in. This isn't bad on the more expensive tools like ratchets but if you break a socket you now have to pay 5 bucks plus a couple bucks for shipping. So just to warranty a socket is almost 10 bucks whcih is more than a new socket is worth. These are things I consider when purchasing tools, others may not care.

I wouldn't toss too much $$ at tools for those particular jobs, but quality tools are always nice.

Make sure you get a set with hex bits for that bike.

If I lived in Europe I'd be looking for Hazet tools.

Wurth=facom

:)

Nope, Wurth=KStools

in Finland, Wurth price > Stahlwille/Facom price

Facom 1/2+1/4 set costs about 160€, if you count price per day for 80 years it costs about 0.5snt per day :D

Wurth spanners *****, those are big than hell, in tight place, 19mm wurth is 7.5mm thick, 19mm Stahlwille is 6mm

Facom, Hazet would be equals and Beta or USAG are the same but not as good as the first group.

In ebay.de is about € 139.00 seems a fair price. But I know there are better socket sets than this, but with less parts.

How to buy the socket with 6 pt or 12 pt?

I suggest you become friends with an automotive dealer, or general tool dealer.
They often have such sets on offer (discount).

I always have bought Facom, recently (2 years) I'm more of a Hazet man. Still have got toolboxes and carts full of Facom gear, that'll most likely never give up on me.
I suspect this isn't for professional use, so either Carolus and similar will do just fine.
If they happen to have a stahlwille or gedore set on offer, I wouldn't hesitate.

As for your question, short answer is 6 point, for the long answer you'll have to do a search. been discussed here not too long ago.
You might want to research the nr. of points in the ratchet as well. more clicks (eg. 72 i think) = very fine resetting angle, more points = coarser work.
