This is first ever post! I've just bought an old craftsman 6x48 belt and disc sander model 103.2250 to recondition, how can I find the original tool stand model 99-2294
Exactly, that's it!!!! I think it was made by a company named Central Specialty Co. for sears. Sears Model #99-2204
I've been looking on line without any success, it maybe the way i'm searching.
Try using :
CRAFTSMAN STAND
or
CRAFTSMAN PEDESTAL
in your search. Mostly you'll see table saw stands, but occasionally a different type will pop up. Be prepared to spend a lot of money. Mr Franklin and a few of his friends. They don't go cheap.
I know this is a loooonng shot but are you anywhere near south Georgia? This one is in the Albany Craigslist for 150 bucks, and you get the saw to boot!
The base and post will work but the top casting will not work with his sander
They made bases specific to each tool bandsaw ,sander, jointer, lathe, table saw etc.
Central specialty co cast the tools as well they became King Seeley at some point
