What kind of boat do you have? Idea possibly came from portable tool box sets like the Pelican 0450 that uses straps to keep tools in place? Did you just lace the peg board with a piece of bunge cored?

That's very cool. I never thought about doing that myself but it obviously works for my Snap-On guy, his truck is always tidy. Nice work.

Pretty much, yes.
I used UHMW 1/4" pegboard due to the potential for water damage.
I figure I can spray the board with fresh water to rinse the tools when necessary to remove saltwater. The heat from the engine dries things quick. And then spray WD-40, Boeshield or whatever on them.

The boards are mounted to the outside of the port side fiberglass fuel tank (650 gal.).

I had to be really careful not to put screws too far through the wood mounts that I epoxied to the tank or I would have created a fuel leak. I used Iroko wood which is very oily and rot resistant like teak. Wasn't sure if the epoxy would stick to it so I tested it first and the bond was stronger than the wood. So it worked well.

Very nice. I am impressed! And more than a little envious. I do
mean that as a compliment.
