Has anyone ever tried doing a tool truck ceiling style tool storage peg board? I like how to tool trucks (particularly snap-on) have the bungee peg board on the ceiling. Has anyone tried to do their vertical walls in such a style? I’m wondering how they set those up. I supposed just weave thin bungee cord through the pegboard with some tension.

Our MAC dealer has that set up, and it's a PITA to remove the tools from the bungee straps. I can't imagine having to do that on a daily basis every time I need a tool.

Meaningless without pictures. A lot of us no longer have access to a tool truck.

100% this. Good for keeping stuff in place as you drive around, no good for frequent access or things you actually use.

I have a matco tool cart that has doors with this on the inside face. I keep 3 odd shaped hydraulic cylinder install tools on there because they spread out a lot when they lay flat in a drawer. Not handy for putting stuff into or out of all the time though.
