A while back I was waiting for a package from ups. I was looking forward to getting the part so I was watching the tracking updates. The odd thing was when it hit the hub here in Baltimore a error message came up followed by no more updates. A few days later it showed back up to the sellers house. Nothing wrong with the box or packing slip. He took it back to ups and they shipped it again, guess the sysetem goes glitchy sometimes.

I've had lost or damaged packages from all the shippers I use. They get delivered to the wrong address mostly then damaged.

RE: DHL
My one experience with DHL was ordering a bass guitar from Viet Nam of all places. It arrived in 8 days, in perfect shape, and the driver knocked on the door and actually waited long enough for me to get there and sign for it.
Full disclosure: I made very good money wiring up their new local sort facility for phones and computers.
Still, it's true.

It happens all the time. So-called lost packages shipped to a loading dock often disappears especially if the drivers knows who signs for the packages. The driver forges the sig and never delivers the package. Also, I received a package for my sister, it was around Christmas, I didn't open it but it had extra tape on the shipping box. Inside the box, the blister pack was enclosed but it was empty. There were two people in the truck so I assumed one was driving and the other was "treasure hunting".
