How often do you see a tool truck when you are driving down the road? I have mostly seen Matco and Cornwell recently. It seems that they are more numerous once I am North of Martinsburg,WVA. Can you please tell me about your tool truck sightings? I will include Hilti for the construction dudes. If you see independent tool trucks, I'm cool with that too.

Lots of car dealers around here so I see Snap-on, Matco and Mac all the time . Cornwell trucks are like UFOs everyone talks about them, but few have ever seen one :)

I have seen several Snap-On and Matco trucks around in central WV. Saw a Cornwell truck in both SE Ohio and SW PA, when I used to travel up that way, never saw one in WV. I don't remember seeing a Mac truck in WV, but honestly cannot remember.

I haven't been on a tool truck in close to 30 years. If I need anything from Snap-on, Matco or Mac (which usually isn't much), I buy used or mail-order directly.

I live in a rural area so I rarely see a tool truck. I know there's a Snap-On and a Mac in the area but I'm six miles from the closest village. over 30 to any real city.

I saw a Mac tool truck in Bridgeport, WV the other day. I think I drive by where the Snap On dealer lives or at least parks...

I see Snap on mostly. I have never seen a Cornwell truck in my area, and haven't seen a Mac or Matco truck in years. I do occasionally see a Gearwrench truck though at a local mechanic's shop in my hometown.

Judging by the used tools in my area, I don't think anybody has seen a Cornwell truck. I have found all the main tool brands at yard sales and swap meets but have never come across a Cornwell tool in the wild.

There are many dealerships around here, and yet I hardly ever see any tool trucks. Not sure why this is.

Snap on and Mac own my hometown. There’s a Cornwell guy now too, but he’s just getting started and has a lot of ground to cover. Seen some Matco trucks around in the towns to the east and west of here, but never in my hometown.

I drive almost 500 miles a day, and I probably see a tool truck, maybe four in a month

I saw a Cornwell tool truck yesterday, I was trying to think of the last time I saw one.

I occasionally see the Snap On truck. I was picking up my Mini from getting an alignment and the SO truck pulled in as I was talking to the guy. He asked me if I wanted to go on the truck, but I was trying to get back home ASAP. Probably not the worst idea - lol.

I see Snap-Off and Matco around regularly. Occasional Mac truck. Haven't seen a ******** Cornwell truck in 30 plus years.
There are a couple "Independent" trucks around. Pretty much "Harbor Freight on Wheels".

I see the snap on truck pretty regularly and the others occasionally on the roads around here. Talking with my mechanic and also the heavy duty mechanics that service our trucks at work they seem to get regular visits from multiple tool trucks regularly.

Would be cool to see an "Independent" loaded up with Proto, SK, Lang, and Wright tools.

I see Snap-on, MAC, and Cornwell here. Metropolitan area with a lot of repair shops and dealerships. Once in a while a MATCO. Snap-on the most.

I have seen Cornwell more lately but they have been sitting in house driveways

I was at a friends shop and the new Mac truck owner came into introduce himself saying he was coming on Wednesday, the same day as snap on and another truck so needless to say no work gets done on Wednesday

Living in the fourth largest city in America (Phoenix) I see them all - with the exception of Matco, particularly on Bell Road. As population density increases tool truck sightings will as well. You guys in the sticks probably never see one.

Lived off of N. Bell road while attending the MMI MC trade school in '80/81. Room mate, and fellow TS student, needed an 18 mm socket for the spark plugs on his classic Honda 305 Dream. I set out on foot to try and find such a socket one afternoon. Was about to give up after checking more than a few big name auto part stores. Was headed back when I saw a Snap-On tool truck parked behind a service station. Problem solved.

look close and you'll SK truck. Very rare sighting around here. Think it going to be repurposed as hasn't moved all summer.

SO and cornwell come to my employer. There's another cornwell truck I've see around, IDK if they're still in business. Matco lives somewhat local to me, Mac truck drives by twice a week. There's an indy guy that just drives around in his personal car, and hands out a flier from the local tool house. He does payments and you can get whatever you want the next week.

Now that I think of it, we have a good saturation of tool trucks. I don't buy a lot off the trucks (as a percentage of tools), but I do business with the cornwell and snap-on guy that come to the shop.

We only have Snap-on at work. I see several of those driving around weekly. I do pass Matco on the way home usually. Him and my dealership had some disagreements so he no longer serves us. Apparently it was over trying to sell a new guy a $10,000 toolbox or something like that. We have two Mac trucks where I live but there are none in my work town. I do see them driving around about once or twice a week. Cornwell never seen one in my area in years I think it’s been 5+ years now the closest one too me is a couple hundred miles away. Never ever seen an SK or Gearwrench truck.

South Texas we have everyone in my city. At least 3 or 4 snap on trucks, several Matco and Cornwell trucks. 1 Mac truck and a couple independents. So my area is well served.

I saw both a Mac tools and the snap on truck in the same parking lot in Harrisonburg,VA this week. The Mac tool truck then went to the Massey Ferguson dealership and the snap on truck drove out of sight.

I saw a Snap On truck yesterday by a Great Bear auto shop that's close to my house. I wanted to stop, but I don't know or use the shop and have never dealt with the driver/owner of the truck.

I wanted to pick up a few wrenches that I need that I don't want to buy from their online store hoping to avoid fees and shipping.
