Sorry, I meant like strictly tool sites. There was one in particular I was looking on a while back and can't remember it now. I use ebay and craigslist all the time.

A site that I don't see many people talking about is tooldiscounter.. But let me say- (my short review) They have just about the cheapest price than anywhere else, cheaper than tooltopia, i've made 4 orders from them in the past already and my last order was awful.. I found out that if they are low in stock/out of stock on a item, they find other warehouses that do have the item and ask them to be the middleman. For my items (Mayhew pry bars and a ATD coolant service kit) they came from MEDCO tools and C & L TOOLS. My problem was that I set the shipping address to my shop and when Tooldiscounter went to tell the warehouses what items i need, they got my billing address (my house) instead. Luckily they use UPS and i was able to change it to my shop address (unfortunately with a $5 fee and a one day delay). I like fast shipping so I choose 2nd day air always with tools and I expect to get my tools 2nd day. Even though my tools were already at the local UPS location that usually means it would be delivered on that day, they still delayed it 1 day because of the address error (so basically the package was already ready to be delivered that day but they held it until the next day for no reason) all together Tooldiscounter had to refund me $10 for the address error and I got my tools in the amount of time of ground shipping when I paid for 2nd day air.

If you're looking for cheapest price and large selection BUT have dodgy service- Tooldiscounter.

My question- Why doesn't tooltopia offer faster shipping? I just don't have much patience. I live in the Bay Area, CA and almost all tool websites I find have their warehouse located in the east of the US. MEDCO tools (what tooldiscounter used for one of my tools) is located in Fresno so it would take about a day for ground shipping for me, unfortunately I called them asking if they sell wholesale and they don't. Only to re sellers.. So anyone know tool warehouses located in CA with good prices?

I have recently bought from www.flexibleindustrial.com and their prices are fairly cheap BUT if you need the tools quickly they certainly arent where you want to buy them. My most recent purchase was made 3-27-15 and all but 1 item was in stock and i've yet to receive my order and that's even after them calling me to ask if I wanted to wait until JUNE for the out of stock item. Their website does say 8-10 business days for shipping once the order is processed though (makes me believe that they are a middle man).

Don't hold me to the "ALL TOOLS ONLY" but I find some great deals from the following web-site called Cripe Distributing.com

As a matter of fact I bought a 7pc Napa metric wrench set for less then $1.50 per wrench and if it should break any napa store will replace it or free.

Sears and make sure you are a SYW member.

Bookmark all websites you visit from the Hot Deals section.
There seem to be a ton of decent places out there.

I use tooltopia for pretty much everything. 7 Calender days is the max I expect to wait for anything. I've gotten things in 72 hours before.

I ordered some Wright wrenches from tooldiscounter. Took 4 weeks to get them. Also I emailed them during that time trying to add something to my order and they never would respond.

www.tooldiscounter.com

:+1:

Santa's ordered a bunch of GearWrench sockets sets, and ratchets from these folks...and the price was the lowest available, and the service was first rate...

I'll get my list off to the North Pole soon, and I expect he'll be shopping there, again...

Nice folks...

Zoro has a lot of good stuff, but the website is hard to use. Amazon is usually decent for a lot of tools.

What's the tool website where at the far right is a drop down box where you can shop by brand? I know that's vague but I know the site has Milwaukee, Proto, and Stanley. The website itself was red on a white background with yellow in it too. I just can't remember the damn name.

Placed a decent sized order with Tooltopia last Thurs., had 100% filled order at my house Sat. I Googled most of the part #'s to see if anyone had them cheaper, no one did, not even Amazon. And besides amazon collects MA state sales tax now. Shipped for free too. I'm very happy.
