Toolbarn issue

Hello,

I just ordered a set of Wright 788 miniature combo wrench USA, but what I got was Cougar Pro m788 set made in Taiwan. Hopefully they will straighten this out just wanted to let anyone else know in-case they order plan on ordering a set.

Every other Wright Tool set I have ordered from Amazon has been the Wright brand USA made.

Was Toolbarn an Amazon Marketplace seller? Or was the item sold by Toolbarn, fulfilled by Amazon? Amazon has a made a couple of naughty mistakes with fulfilling my orders this time of year as well. It can be mind-boggling, but contact the folks that shipped the item to you first, in which case should be Amazon. If It was sold and fulfilled by Toolbarn, contact Toolbarn.

Yep. Amazon doesn't pay much attention to what people return on items fulfilled by them. Someone can order one wrench set and return another and the people working returns will look and see if it has the right number of wrenches and probably nothing else. It's a common problem where people will intentionally order an item and return a like but lower quality item or a broken item to take advantage of Amazons generous return policies.

I sell stuff on Amazon and once had a customer order 30 of a medical item with a shelf life and then return 30 expired ones. I had to fight with Amazon on that and eventually they reimbursed me from their funds but they never penalized the scammer.

I use to work for Amazon at a fullfillment center and they are very strict you even have to walk through metal detectors and security every time to go to break room and if your not fast enough your out the door or mess up an order more than a couple times everything that goes out gets weighed as everything has been weighed indevidualy before it goes out the door that's how they catch mistakes the place is huge and sold everything even **** really you name it. My brother hangs all of the signs for them around Here and they opened another fulfillment center by me and hire as much as 3000 people for holiday season just at one warehouse and they are huge, the biggest buildings I've seen they also have buildings just for handling problems by phone and computer I had worked on one of those for awhile as it was being constructed huge as well. Amazon is a hell of a company now for private seller's it's a different thing so they don't have ability to monitor the items you get.
