I had a KRA2423 (classic 96) triple bank. very good box for the money. I used it for a couple years and got all of the purchase price back when trading it in on a KRL1022 (double bank). i paid almost full retail years ago and it was 4K IIRC.

if you can't find a used master series, I'd buy any of the classic 78 or classic 96's with that discount in a heart beat. you could probably sell it for more than you paid on CL......

I would get the Husky. Not only is it deeper by 2" inches it's also constructed from heavier steel. That box is likely to become my next box.

don't know if this will help you but here in California @ Lowes there is a Lenox 52 in. , 9 drawer roll box , with power strip and usb's . only on sale till nov. 15th , the price here is $449.00 , check your Lowes in your neck of the woods , while it may not be your forever box, at that pricepoint you won't be up to your eyeballs in debt, and like you said, when you do upgrade, this would make a great home box , good luck with your new job,

^ that's only 18" deep so drawer depth about 16" max which not great.
That 60" 24" depth Husky not a bad budget box and very usable, be sure the pegboard model worth the extra 100bucks to you, great budget box buy if comes on sale, black friday etc .
