Happy Thanksgiving, all!
this year was a first - first time MOAO and I spent it without family. The way things are we just didn't want to chance a trip halfway across the country.
now, garage content:
I have this box - really more like a socket tray to go in a real toolbox. It's 18 x 3 1/2 x 2. It wasn't really worth saving, but I was running the e-tank anyway so I tossed it in and was quite surprised how nice it turned out. I'd like to paint it the original color but I'm having a hard time deciding what that is. It's a hammered finish and looks sort of like a Wilton vise, and sort of like an S-K box.
Maybe sort of halfway in between. I don't have an S-K on hand to compare, so here's a picture with the Wilton, a 4" bullet with not much paint remaining. I've tweaked the color so on my computer screen it looks exactly the same as the box sitting on my desk right by it.
Any suggestions appreciated!
The box is worth very little, so a custom-mixed paint is out of the question -if it even could be done in a hammered finish!
---I just compared the screen image with the actual box - right on the money. Oh, the size of the pictured part of the box is about 1 1/2 x 2"
