Local Princess Auto sells used Treadmill belts that people can cut up and use as drawer liners. Usually about $9 for one of those 10'x3' rubber belts, enough to cover most tool cabinets.

I bought this commercial carpet from Lowe's for less than $20.00 (6'X 12') I did all my drawers in two cabinets and had a very small piece left over.

I was toying with using up my left over PU truck bed liner on my drawers.
I did that to an old tool box I used to keep in the trunk of my car and it worked great. I'm planning to do for a box of drawers I'm building into welding table I'm making. It's going to get some rough use so why not?

Looking at the pictures with the tools all set out proper and easy to find is really nice! I've got two roll arounds with top boxes and side cabinets on each and all the drawers are full! To lay out my tools nice and neat I would need about for more roll arounds with top boxes and side cabinets!

I had always just used cut up pieces of cardboard and that worked well. Now that I am not a mechanic any longer full time I noticed that some of my tools are showing signs of rust on them. I'm thinking the cardboard holds moisture.
I just purchased some draw liners from Harbor Freight and will try that next!
Thanks for all the tips and suggestions!
