I picked up a large lot of stuff the other night. Got one heck of a deal and it included three different sets of boxes. One is a Kennedy upper and lower, one is a craftsman top with master mechanics bottom, and the third I can't seem to identify. It seems to be heavy duty. Much thicker then most of the modern boxes I see. Does anyone have a clue what kind of box this is? There is no name on it.

Nice tool box, sounds like you got it at a pretty good price.

I want to say Proto, based on the drawer pull style.

Check them all over for a stamp or other identification marks. Most of the old boxes are stamped with the manufactures mark.

:+1: I too believe it is a Proto based on the pulls.

There are missing nameplates where the nameplates are on that proto you linked. Where would I find a stamping at? I looked around the box but didn't see anything.

Yeah i got a pretty great deal. Boxes and boxes of stuff the toolboxes a pressure washer and power tools. I'm always on a search for big lots like this one. I figure I can keep what I want and sell the rest and get my $$ back.
