I need some help! I picked up this tool box a while ago for really good deal. Box is very heavy duty, and the drawers hold a ton of weight. I just can't seem to find any info about it? I seriously doubt s k made the box, but there are no other markings on it. Anybody have a similar box or any other info about it?
Thank you!!!

Sk offered boxes for years made by SPG international. ADD the chrome drawer trim and I could easily believe it's an spg.

How was the quality of the SPG international boxes? I don't figure it's worth a ton of money, just wondering if its worth hanging onto.

They still make these boxes today.

From what I recall, they are made in Canada and still are. They are well made in comparison to the garbage found at Sears or a big box store.

They are not valuable but if you want a box that will work well in your non commercial garage, you can't go wrong with an SPG box.

As someone else mentioned, they usually have chrome trim on the drawer pulls. Maybe yours were removed or possibly they made some without the extra bling.

07: welcome to the forum and GJ. there are quite a few members from West Virginia so hope you stick around to teach us what you know and maybe learn something like i do almost daily.

i love SK quality so i doubt those boxes you have will fall apart anytime soon.

in our area those would sell for maybe $300-500 if the drawers are in pretty good shape inside and work like they should. did you know using beeswax on the drawer slides is a good way to keep them operating nicely and looking decent?

thanks for all the info! She's kinda ugly and faded, but works perfect. Looks like I'll be hanging onto this one. The waldo vise is an old craftsman I got for free from a neighbor. I'll have to grab some pics and info from it as well.
