I was looking at getting a bigger box because my current Matco box is maxed out. Based on all the positive comments about hf toolboxes i wanted to take a look at the 72 inch box. I was really hoping i would like it because i was going to receive it as my christmas present pending my approval and it was a no go. Bummed at the moment because i have to look elsewhere, so my question now is are the toolboxes from strictly toolboxes of a better quality and a bit more comparable to what i currently have?

My current box is a single bay matco box so its fairly small and i don't think there is an option to add to it.. I Normally carry most of my tools in my truck so never got a bigger box but I've gotten to the point that i need a bigger box.

Okay that being the option of getting a bigger box, all depends on your budget & with tool trucks, there is the option of trading in your current box.

I don't have a tool truck vendor that comes by and if i do buy another name brand box I'm hoping to buy used cause the name brand stuff gets pricey quick...lol

well at this point id like to hear from some customers that own some of the other brands like montezuma,Extreme, tool vault; and try and figure out if those are any better or if i should just settle for a used snap on or matco box.

What is this tool box used for (as in what type of work do you do) and what type of environment?

I have a tool vault.

Depending on your budget a larger Matco or Snap-On will be best in quality but, Cornwell makes them for a lot less but aren't as good quality. you can also buy one used.
