One of my winter projects is to restore an old wooden machinist toolbox. It is nothing special, no stampings or labels on it anywhere. I see the Gerstner website has a lot of parts but I was wondering if there are any other sources for toolbox parts? How about parts for old metal toolboxes?

Thanks Flathead, I can maybe use the handles from your link on one of my project box's, not a match to the originals but a good alternative.

Like Vic I'm also looking for a parts source for metal box's, drawer slides in particular for a `54 +/- SO 351.

Thanks for the link to the machinestchest flathead. Looks like they have a good selection. I bookmarked the site.

Years ago, I received a catalog from Woodworker's Supply. I thought they had toolbox parts. I found their website ( http://woodworker.com ) but it is a little hard to navigate. I sent them a request for another catalog so I will see what they have.
