Toolbox shopping

I've been looking around to replace my current toolboxes. I have two toolboxes - one has 5 drawers and the other has 3. I'm currently maybe 1 and a half drawers away from being out of space but I'd probably just dump my SAE stuff into a box and free up another drawer if it was an issue.

Anyways. I'm looking for something that is decent quality of course but that stand out in some way. So the relatively boring Craftsman, Huskey, Maximum's etc are all out. Looking to stay around ~$2000

So far I've found 4 main options which appeal to me but I'm not sure if there are any others that I should be looking at:

Grey Tools Pro+ 42" 21 drawer top chest and cabinet set @ $2200 CAD:

Grey Tools Pro+ 26" 20 drawer top chest and cabinet set @ $1500 CAD:

I really like the old school handles and aesthetic of the Grey tools boxes. The first is probably a lot more toolbox than I need right now and it's a little out of my budget but that's a lot more toolbox for an extra $700. Lots of room to grow. I also love the crazy number of drawers they have. The OCD part of me would love having a drawer for each type of thing. I've seen these in person and the build quality seemed quite nice.

KTC/Nepros 7 or 8 drawer toolbox. They'd be about $1500 CAD to $1700 CAD shipped (hilariously cheap shipping). I've become a big fan of Nepros stuff and will probably end up with a complete set of their tools so there's something about being able to match everything. I've never seen these in person so I have no idea of the quality and fit and finish but I can only assume they're quite nice in person.

Jet 842754 TMC2708 27" 7 Drawer Treasure Series Tool Chest
Jet 842704 TRC2707 27" 7 Drawer Treasure Series Roller Cabinet
Both together come in a little over $2000. It's an interesting design that stands out like the Grey Toolboxes and similarly has a lot of small drawers which I like.

Right now I'm leaning towards the Grey 42" set just because it seems like by far the best value.

The KTC/Nepros is intriguing based on their tool quality

I'm also in the market - wish there was some sort of review or comparison for the Williams made in USA boxes. Nobody on GJ seems to own one. Other than that I've considered Homak RS Pro. Not a fan of Proto's - think they're made in US with global materials, and Kennedy is just not feasible price-wise.

Watching this thread closely. The Costco Gray Tool 42" package is a couple hundred C$ cheaper than my local Gray Tools dealer.

I am looking hard at Nepros but they seem to deliver using UPS. That delivery company is unbelievable for screwing over Canadians with brokerage fees.

I always plug strictlytoolboxes.com They have great boxes there

The vendor you mentioned publishes an 800 number that can't be dialled from my phone in Canada, so I'm going to assume they don't sell to Canadians. This is the case for many American vendors. If you can find one who will agree to ship to Canada, it is quite typical to get a bill for brokerage from a company like UPS two weeks afterward. If you're lucky, the amount is one case of beer, but usually two or three.

You can pick up an awfully nice used Snap-On for $2500 and there are a bunch of them out there.

Those Grey boxes remind me of the Remline set that I had about 18 years ago. I loved the boxes but I outgrew them quickly. Plus the drawers were kind of small. If side boxes were available for them I might have kept them but at that time there wasnt any. My wife surprised me with a first gen Husky combo in red. Thats when they were still being made in Smith Falls. I still have the box and added two side boxes.
At this time if I needed another set I would just buy a set from HF. Ive looked at them a few times and theyre pretty decent for the money.
