I ordered a boat load of organizers from toolbox widget on November 25th. I'm new to the product and decided the black Friday offer was too good to pass up.

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I ordered and it still hasn't shipped. Customer service tells me "it shows your order is being prepared for shipping". No kidding, there isn't anything else you could be doing other than shipping my order.

Then I received an unexpected email apologizing for the delay but it was "out of their control". That really burned me. If it isn't in their control who's control is it in?

I think they took orders for product they didn't have on hand and are waiting to get more. How long can it really take to throw 20 bags of parts in a box and ship it?

Hopefully this is an isolated incident but buyer beware.

I want the product or I would cancel.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect your product to ship in a week. It's not like its custom made or anything.

And by the way it takes amazon a week to deliver to me so I'm certainly not spoiled.

I placed my order on Nov 26, mine arrived yesterday Dec 7th. The website had a disclaimer when I placed the order that volume was high and ship times slower. Toolbox Widget great products!

Be careful. Companies like that tend to have packages that go to Memphis instead of where they're supposed to go. Then they go where they should. It's a mystery no one has figured out.

Ordered on November 25th, its December 30th and I still haven't received anything. 5 weeks. Customer service claimed I would see my order today (December 30th). I told them I was sick of waiting and to cancel it. Haven't gotten a refund or the product.

Tomorrow I'll be denying the charge with my credit card company. I don't know what else to do?

I hope you get it soon but I was very disappointed by my order. The magnets for the plier rack components are not very strong (they move). The socket organizers are just okay.

Not here to stir up anything just my opinion.

They're a small veteran owned company, and I think black Friday sales volume could easily crash their ability to fill orders in a timely manner. A month is a long time to wait for widgets. I've ordered from the widget peeps a few times without incident. It ***** waiting on an order. I'm still waiting on a wright wrench set I ordered in July :wtf:

There is a lot of crazy / stupid things going on with different companies.

2 months back wife made an order from HSA store ( medical spending store pre tax dollars use it or loose it ) and it took 3 weeks for them to email & cancel the entire order due to 1 item not available to ship to Ca. The 1 item icy cold patches ….

she called thus time
2 hrs later on the phone placed the new order and now a CPAP machine cleaner can’t be shipped to ca but it can be shipped to Az. Order got canceled again….

3rd time
2 weeks ago placed order they haven’t confirmed anything and the deadline is Jan 1, 2023 use it or loose it $$$

so-we haven’t even gotten to confirmation of an order placed in over 2 months and 3 attempts

Ordered 5 things from them in November. Shipping was from Amazon for two of them and the rest was from TW. Shipping was less then a week. Maybe they are out of one product and holding the order? Or problem with Amazon warehouse?

Guess the 3D printers in China are down? You can get equivalent products from Ernst for about the same price, plus they are made in the US.
