Placed an order online last night with them. Turns out one of the items is out & won't be in for a couple of weeks. Recieved an e-mail and a telephone call from them today stating this and letting me know the expected ship date of the order. Even though it wasn't the news I wanted, I appreciate the fact that they went over and above in letting me know what is going on so that I am not waiting everyday for UPS to show up with my order. I have placed an order with them in the past & will do so in the future. Highly recommended vender.

First time ordering from tooldiscounter.com - Placed an order for a specialty tool and got an email saying it would be 2-3 weeks. That wasn't going to work so called to doublecheck. Guy on the phone was super nice, apologized for the confusion, went to the warehouse to physically get the tool in his hand and said it would ship out today. I'll update when I receive, but great customer service so far.
This has nothing to do with tool discounter. But yesterday I placed an order with Grainger. If I will called it I could pick it up sometime today. I think everyone has moved to some delayed default setting for shipping now.
