The deal is still alive for anyone that hasn't ordered the freebie. I got the Magnetizer-Demagnetizer yesterday. It works great, very strong magnetizer, and also demagnetizes fully when you are done and need to go to non-magnetic.

COO - Not indicated on tool or packaging.

How long has it taken for most of you? It's been almost a month and still nothing!

Did this deal once without making an account and still haven't received anything (shipping confirmation and all), ordered again with an account this time and got my hex keys in about a week iirc

I signed up for the hex keys on 06/13 and almost immediately got a message notifying me that they had shipped. The keys never arrived and a few weeks later I got an email from the company asking me to review the product. I replied that I'd never received it. The next morning I had an email from Carbide Processors apologizing for the error and promising that they'd ship another set. Two weeks ago I got an email telling me the second set had shipped but apparently it too disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle and I'm not holding my breath.

Received my hex keys. They're top notch tools and they were free. Not much more to say.

Did you use your normal email address or a new one that you can throw away? I ask because before signing up for anything 'free' online, I want to know how the information is being used. Online searches indicate this is a direct marketing group that harvests emails to sell to advertisers. That may be incorrect, but that's what searches are showing up.

I'd hate to end up on some list or having tools sent to me for review I didn't ask for and get charged for it. I've seen that happen in woodworking / home tool groups before.

Call me paranoid, but I think I'll wait a few months to see how this plays out first.

I'm the same way, i have an email account for things online and one for actual communication with friends and family.
Now if i could just get my friends to stop sending me Candy Crush invites my personal account will be spam free

Got my Wiha Mag/DeMag @ 4pm today. Good timing since they sent me an email this morning asking for a review.

Ordered 6/19. Can't complain about the delivery. Price was right!!

Got it today. Not sure how you can ship something that takes a month to arrive.

But hey, it was free! And it works very well!

Arrived home and found it waiting for me. Great call by ToolGuyD! Had a difficult choice between the hex key set and the magnetizer/demagnetizer. Ended up with the mag/demag.

Great timing. I just picked up a 4pc set of Wiha precision screwdrivers that I wanted to magnetize!
