Hi,
I found this great forum some months ago, and now i want to show you
some of my tools. I'm from Germany, so you're gonna basically see German tool brands like Knipex and Stahlwille. I'm 20 years old and one of my passions is BMW, as you can see on my username. The S85B50 is the brilliant V10 engine of the current M5 and M6.
My girlfriend is american, so I really like you Americans . Her dad works as a MSgt at Ramstein Airforcebase . Does anyone here know this AB?

And please be lenient with me. English isn't my native language. I'm really trying to write everything correctly .

Welcome to the forum. I have always had an appreciation for German tools. I have to say that I prefer some Knipex pliers and cutters over Snap-on.

They're really good. The blade is one piece and the plastic handle was made around it. So it's really solid (I hope you understand my explanation ) the green areas are softgrip.

I also prefer Knipex. Their pliers are the same or better quality than Snap On and the stuff is really cheap to get here. Look at my miniature pliers. Are Snap On pliers directly made by SO?

I've been eying those Knipex miniatures, but they are very pricey here. I will state my opinion once again; I think printing the bar code on the handles of any tool is very cheap looking.

I paid about $318 for the 6-piece-set. I guess they're even more pricey in the USA. I share your opinion on barcodes.

I wish I could afford one of everything. I really like the Hazet 172HD tool trolly. I can not believe how expensive they are. Dealers in the states want $2000.00 US for them. They look like something that should be in my Grandmothers 1950's kitchen.

Most unfortunatly for me I have been out of work for 3-4 months and have very little cash.

That Hazet 172HD toolbox is really nice! I'm dreaming of a Snap On toolbox. But I've the same problem. Those high quality toolboxes are very pricy.

Check eBay Germany. I saw a used one for $220.

Yes you can change the drive size to 3/4" and with a adapter to 1/4" or 3/8".
There are also other ratchet types like quick release ratchets available.

Wow that is nice. It could save you from having to buy multiple torque wrenches for different drive sizes as long as the torque range of the torque wrench is all you need.

Am I the only one that recognizes that torque wrench? I don't remember exactly, but it's in the $1,000 range (or close to). 2% accuracy, with no loss on the end of the range.

Great images. Thanks so much. I spent 4 years in Germany, and was present for the fall of the wall. Big regret is not taking the opportunity to purchase more tools. I do treasure the ones I have and use them regularly.
