Awesome! wouldn't it be a hoot if some manufacturers started finishing some of their tools like that?

Very creative!

When I was a little boy, my mom would insist that my dad allow me to "help" him work on cars. He didn't have a lot of patience for "kids stuff", but he allowed me to sit on a stool while he was under the car, and he would ask me for tools. But I was about 4-5 years old, so I had a lot of trouble knowing what comes after 9/16, etc, and that drove him nuts. So I ended up sitting there, playing with the tools, getting my hands nice and greasy (fun, back then). I distinctly recall seeing animal shapes in certain pliers, adjustable wrenches, and playing with them as dinosaurs as I sat there. But dad would get mad when I started making animal sounds, etc. He said, "Those are TOOLS, not toys. If you want to play with toys, get out of the garage."

I always stayed, just got quieter, and kept playing with tools...

Then there is Doug Dorr's Kool-Tools. This was bought years ago at the swap meet in Huntington Beach...
