excuse my ignorance Ive never owned one and in the market, but storing them with the spring unloaded keeps them in calibration? So im guessing this would be reasonably close to where it should be as far as the calibration?

many people belive that storing this type of torque wrench with the spring unloaded will help preserve its calibration or accuracy.
I do belive this as I have always stored mine that way and they have always staid accurate

I am not sure but these are longer than the same sized standard snap on wrenches so I think they may be the long pattern
