Can anybody tell me.who made this srewdriver? i found it with smith meter made in usa..design like WERA...

Yup, made by Wera, like you suspected.

What your opinion about this tool?
Im very disappointed about quality of this adjustable wrench :-
1) material
2) Finishing
3) Durability
4) Price - too expensive

* i think made/design by BAHCO..but quality not same as BAHCO tools

Yup, I have friend who has that and I was not impressed AT ALL! Very poor, especially for something with the Snap-on name on it.

It's made by Irimo in Spain. Here's more info regarding adjustable wrenches in general: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=369741&postcount=1

My old MARVEL (JIS) cable crimp :D

Cool...I think this is the first Marvel tool in this thread.

The quality looks very poor on your pictures, never seen something like that from Bahco not on the swedish ones and not the spanish ones...I only once had a SO adjustable in my hands, the finish was ok but the lower jaw had more wobble than my Bahco´s.

Cantause for President, King, Great Leader and what not!!! :lol_hitti

Lol, I didn't ask for that much :D

no problem ! I´m always there for you :D ....if you want to buy german made tools :D ;) ...The rest i don´t know nothing about :D :D

good explanation :D :thumbup:

Ordered a CITH yesterday from handwerker-versand.de, with... 20 other things... :) I always try to save on shipping :D

The good thing is you could repaint the inside of the sockets if it should be bare steel :D Paint don´t adhere good on plated surfaces... How about a Facom red ?? :D ;)

Unfortunately the inside is polished (nickel), too bad :( I would have loved to paint the inside of my sockets, it would have been nice, with the thickness of the paint I would have had a complete collection of half size sockets, 10,5 14,5 17,5 ... :lol_hitti

i can look up the price for you :D ,
but damn thats long....maybe they still use sailing ships or rowing boats ....:D..... cheaper you know ....no fuel.... :D
:D

Tool proletarians unite ! :D

I visited Marx's house in Trier, I don't remember if he had a workshop ;)

@superautobac:

Nice hammer, the design looks like a bit more sophisticated than Halder simplex, finish too

@mrtools:

Again nice Vessel screwdrivers, you make me want to try some!

Cool!! hammer and impacta screwdriver :thumbup:
What ur opinion about impacta screwdriver?

Yeah... it awesome toolbox :drool::drool: i like the stand function.:thumbup::thumbup:

I think the Impacta is a great idea. I think the Phillips #2 is probably the most used drive type for a hand impact driver and so I think Vessel was smart to produce these. They're nice and handy as they can sit right beside your screwdrivers, in your screwdriver drawer/rack. And the price is right: affordable. :thumbup:

Here's a video produced by Vessel: http://www.vessel.co.jp/movie/hand_impacta_E.html

sweet hammer !!!!! :drool: :drool: :drool:
is the chrome plated piece metal or plastic ?

It's metal. :)

This may not be obvious, but the handle end becomes a tail hammer. :thumbup: Similar to how the US made Estwing hammers are, with their elastomer handles.

It's interesting to note that this is my first non-Japan-made Vessel tool. Mr. Tools, this particular hammer was made not very far from where you live--at their Thailand factory.

Another T-handle that I enjoy using a lot:

I most often stick a 6" Robertson #2 to drive pocket-hole screws.

attachment.php

The handle has a compartment to store bits or whatever you see fit. :thumbup: I fit my 1" and 4" Robertson #2 in there.

Where the tall corn grows!
kinda off topic:

If any of you fellas across the pond happen to find a set of 6" diag. cutters w/ blue handles, made in W.Germany - please let me know. They were my first good pair of diag. cutters and they walked off w/ a customer a few years ago. I have yet to find another pair second hand.

The look alot like these, but w/ "West Germany" stamped on the head - the blue coating on the handles is similar to the hazet blue:

31KWSP4GENL._SL500_AA280_.jpg

I liked them because the steel was uncoated, and just soft enough to be easily sharpened w/ a fine file.

@mrtools: Hi, good collection!

@Ultgaz: these pliers look's like fish. :)
UglyFish.jpg

"Ugly fish - good beer!"

yes. The tool dealers usually belong to one of these wholesale groups or are wholesalers themself and sell brands like Forum, Format, Promat, Primat, Garant, Holex, Atorn, Fakkt, Factor etc. So you always find these brands together with Hazet or Gedore (etc) at a dealer.

Hi, Monte! Nice to meet you again on Krypton's secret lab! :bounce:
What you know about Primat OEM for other brands?

@ mistertool:

Very nice collection, Facom enthusiast or just wanted to try something different? From your location and your Nepros tools, I guess that you like exotic tools in your toolbox :)
You have good taste :thumbup:

Showoff! :D

Very nice lot. :thumbup: :drool:

Have you tried that twist ratchet and its twist function?

Sorry to answer to your question, but I own the same Facom "twist" ratchet since a year, I'm very satisfied.
From the first sight it could be considered as a gadget, I think it's not, especially when you work in the engine bay and have little space. The really nice thing is that whatever the way you turn the handle (clockwise or counterclockwise), the square drive in the head turn always in the way set with the control ring, it goes really fast. Of course you can't produce a lot of torque using this feature, but you have the normal ratchet for that.
When you use it as a normal ratchet, the hande is automatically locked so no risk to slip when tightening a bolt.
The only disadvantage I see is the big head compared to regular ratchet and it's only availabe with socket locking system, most of the time I prefer ratchets without this feature...

Really, for the price, it's worth it, even when you consider it's a taiwanese product...
